What a difference one week makes in the Ozarks. We went from sub-zero temperatures to a high of 50 degrees, providing a back drop of terrific weather for tournament fishing.

Ron Weiss from Cotter, AR took over the lead for the battle of Biggest Bass of the year with a toad weighing in at 5.34 pounds. Way to go Ron.

With one tournament left in the Mid-Central Buddy Winter Bass Tournaments we will see if Ron can hold

on to the title of catching the Biggest Bass of the Year and winning additional cash.

Lynn Luther and Anthony Gates from Viola brought a five fish limit to the scales for a first place finish. Their bag of fish weighed in at 17.77 pounds. The team fished the Buck Creek area but was closed mouth about other details of how they caught the winning bag. They took home $900 for their first place finish. GREAT JOB!!!

Second Place went to Ron Weiss of Cotter, Arkansas. He caught 8 keepers on jerk baits fishing mid lake.

His best 5 bass weighed in at 16.34 pounds. Ron took home a check for $560.

Shawn White and BJ Davis from Mtn. Home, Arkansas took a check for $330 for their 3rd place finish.

They brought five bass to the scales that weighed 15.91. White and Davis fished down the lake but

8th Place: $25 gift certificate from Otter Kreek Tackle with 14.72 pounds – Roy Rigdon
